We would like to invite all participants in upcoming conference to join us in a welcome session that will transport you to the captivating world of Port wine. as we invite you to a traditional  Port wine cellar.

Expert guides will walk you through the fascinating process of how Port wine is produced, revealing the secrets that have been passed down through generations in an immersive experience in the cellar.

During your visit to the cellar, you will gain insight into the distinct characteristics that make Port wine truly exceptional. Learn about the unique terroir of the Douro Valley, where the grapes are cultivated in terraced vineyards, basking in the region’s warm sun and benefiting from the cooling winds of the nearby river.

No visit to a Port wine cellar would be complete without indulging in a delightful tasting experience. As the conference’s welcoming session unfolds, you will have the opportunity to sample a selection of exquisite Port wines carefully curated for your enjoyment. From the smooth and velvety Ruby Ports to the complex and aged Tawny Ports, each sip will be a revelation, offering a symphony of flavors that dance across your palate.

Conference Dinner

We are thrilled to announce that the conference dinner will be held at the iconic Casa da Música, an architectural masterpiece designed by Rem Koolhaas and featuring a stunning art installation by Pedro Cabrita Reis. This prestigious venue is an unmissable opportunity to experience the vibrant cultural scene of Porto, one of the most beautiful cities in Portugal.

At Casa da Música, you will have the chance to savor the culinary delights of Chef Artur Gomes, renowned for his unique style that combines traditional Portuguese cuisine with international influences. You can expect an exquisite and sophisticated dining experience that will delight your senses and leave a lasting impression.

Venue

We are thrilled to announce that the upcoming conference will be held at the Fundação Cupertino de Miranda in Porto, Portugal.

Getting to the Foundation is easy, no matter how you choose to travel. If you are arriving by car, there is a large parking lot adjacent to the building, which offers ample space for vehicles. If you prefer to take public transportation, the Foundation is easily accessible by metro, bus, or tram. The nearest metro station is Casa da Música. By bus you should take the 502 and exit at “Parque da Cidade” bus stop.

Once you arrive, you will be greeted by its striking modernist architecture and impressive art collection.

Fundação Cupertino de Miranda also has a restaurant that you can book for lunch during the conference.
